Who looks after you when your car goes wrong?

The independent ranking of UK car manufacturers by customer service. No sponsors. No bias. Just what actually happened.

42,438 customer experiences shared and counting

Why does this exist?

Existing customer service rankings are run by industry bodies, trade associations, and organisations with skin in the game. They survey "selected customers," weight results mysteriously, and—funny how this works—the brands with the biggest marketing budgets always seem to win.

We think that's a bit rubbish.

Customer Service League is different. Anyone can vote. Every vote counts equally. We don't take money from manufacturers. The rankings reflect what actual customers experience when things go wrong.

Current Rankings

This is what happens when your car needs fixing, your dealer screws up, or you have to chase someone for answers. Scores based on warranty claims, dealer experiences, complaint handling, and communication.

How it works

1

You rate

Share your genuine experience with a manufacturer's customer service. One vote per brand per person.

2

We count

Every vote carries the same weight. A Lexus vote doesn't count more than a Vauxhall vote. Imagine that.

About Customer Service League

Customer Service League was started in 2024 by a group of car enthusiasts who got tired of watching the same brands win "best customer service" awards while the forums were full of people pulling their hair out.

We're not funded by manufacturers. We don't run ads for car brands. We don't accept "partnerships" or "sponsorships" that might influence results. The site runs on a shoestring and that's how we like it.

Our methodology is simple: collect votes, calculate averages, publish results. No mysterious weighting algorithms. No "expert panels" who happen to have just returned from a manufacturer's press trip. Just maths.

Our principles

  • One person, one vote per manufacturer. We do our best to prevent gaming.
  • No manufacturer money touches this site. Ever.
  • Transparent methodology. What you see is what we calculate.
  • We respect your data. We collect the minimum needed and don't sell it.

Open methodology

Vote counts and calculations can be independently verified. We don't hide behind "proprietary algorithms."

No conflicts of interest

No current or past employment with manufacturers. No advertising. No sponsored content.
